Make forum URL .com?

Hey guys, hoping someone can help me out on this one. Currently, my forums can only be accessed using the .com/forums/forum.php. I want to be able to access the forums by simply navigating to the .com without the trailing /forums/forum.php. Can someone guide me as to how t accomplish this? Thanks!

simple just put the /forums files to your /www (main directory)
and in your admincp go to setting=> Options=> Site Name / URL / Contact Details
