Activity Stream - New Posts Default

How can we set the What's New Tab so that the default shows is new posts when you click it.? (instead of Activity Stream)
I don't mind activity stream being an option in subnav, but why cant New Posts be the default.

Especially when the option in ACP says you can make it "Default" lol

Am i missing something here.!?
