I have searched for this like crazy and was unable to locate a proper answer. How does one remove the post icons on the home page? We are currently running on vb 4.2

Are those post icons are thread prefixes? Check AdminCP > Settings > Options > Forum Listing Display Options > Show Thread Prefix in Last Post column > No
