Changing format of CMS WIDET RECENT THREAD

Hey, i would like to know how to go about adding the following in the recent threads CMS Widget;

1)Thread Attacment

or

2)Thread [IMG]

Basically I'm trying to get an IMG/attachment in the Widget instead of text/content.
