tabbed CMS widget with php

What I am trying to do is create a tabbed widget where the user can select either the recent cms or the recent threads widget. The tabs are done and the recent cms is working just fine. I put the necessary stuff from the recent threads templete in the second tab. I assume the php needs to be merged to make it work.

Thoughts?

Suggestions?

Where is the php for widgets anyways?
