Looking for developer to take over add-on

Hi Guys
Are there any developers out there who would like to take over microclassifieds? It is the only auction package for VB. Chris Teriaks, the guy that wrote it, has deserted it (his web sites no longer function, he no longer answers emails, I have served written notice on his last known address as I actually paid him for a lifetime support license).

Maybe put it back as a free VB add-on as well (a limited version).

After I get certain minor though annoying issues fixed, I was thinking of offering it for sale to hopefully get back whatever it costs me to get it fixed. I have, as I said, served notice of intent on Chris' last known address. I tseems a shame to let this add-on go as there are no ther VB auction packages, and the package is very good (except for a few small but annoying issues as I said).

Any thoughts / takers?

That is going to be difficult, impossible, as the programmer has disappeared, does not reply to emails, his web sites are toast and he does not even answer registered mail letters. As I have paid for a product and lifetime support, I am thereby entitled to the product (I now own it). I went through this process with my lawyer and there is nothing else I can do / no other option for me besides throw the investment away, which I am not going to do. It is not so much the money, but the application which I now need even more.

So, forget making it commonly available; I was simply thing of the VB community. I need a developer who can fix the application for me. Any takers?

You are more than welcome to modify the modification yourself and do whatever you want with it EXCEPT distribute it to anybody else. So, if you need that modification modified for your own use, you may hire someone or do it yourself, but you may not distribute that modification to anybody else.

If you need to hire someone, you should post in the Requests for Paid Services forum.
