Registration bug?

Hi,

I'm testing my forum, and trying to create a new user. When I press "registrer" I'm prompt with my facebook profile, and the option to connect through facebook. I "log out", and try to registrate without facebook.

But, when I hit "Registrer" after filling out all the details, it comes up with "Sorry, that facebook user does not match what we have on record, please try again.". How come? I'm NOT trying to create a user through facebook. I'm creating a user without facebook.

Is this a known issue? Any ideas on how to solve that, without forcing my new users to facebook connect?

As you can see, I'm not logged in to facebook, so vBulletin should not try to find a facebook user.

If I log out of facebook, and close my browser completely, and then open my browser, and try to register (without visiting facebook first), it works fine. It's as if vBulletin doesnt log me out of facebook, even though it says it does. As if it thinks I wanna connect through facebook, even though I dont.

Any suggestions?

(The thread you posted is 2 years old, and the issue back then should be fixed in v. 4.1.11 which I'm currently using).

if you registered with another account before and added facebook to that account you cant use it on a new account also check your options if you allow registering with facebook option to yes

But, as I'm trying to say, I'm NOT trying to register a new account with facebook connect. But I can't seem to log out of facebook, when I try to register a new "normal" user.

go to facebook its self log out there then log out of fb on forums if that does not work go to settings under my account click edit connections and remove facebook
