It's working fine with 4.2PL2. It took me days to find the problem with Thanks post. If your reply -post is
working then follow this step more carefully and make sure that you have install first
Post Thank You Hack v.7.84 isn't able to work with previous version so confirm that. Also before start disable any other modifications on admincp. It will work without any other edited. At the end if your forum has dark black background make sure that you will replace the misc icons of thanks of root and skin folder to be able to see the picture!!!

Try re-installing the Abe1's post thank you hank. Are you using the hack earlier before installing the hide hack? If you have idea you can try adding a table in sql db manually for "post_thanks_thanked_times"

Just upload the images on your current style directory as below:
style_folder/images/buttons/
or just simply upload the images folder in zip format and then extract to your > styles/images
Thats all.

amigo, el problema es que los moderadores de otras zonas ven todo el contenido por mas que los bloquee de las opciones del mod de vbulletin..
Osea yo quiero esconder zonas con los hide y que solo los supermods y admin puedan ver sin agradecer, q los demas user tengan q agradecer si osi..

also need a maximum number of posts setting in the options. i could set hide that need 1000000000 posts to be seen. eventually you add enough zeros it breaks the mod and you can see the hidden content. would like a field to set max in admin cp.

It should work in the CMs seeing as you can promote posts. I promoted a post earlier which contained a document being hidden by the show groups tag. Obviously It didn't work and just showed the actual bb code text.

So now I am having to unhindered the document :(

I installed this product in VB 4.2 PL2, but I have a problem with the images that are displayed in the editor, as it is not displayed correctly, that the paths to that point are bad, this only happens with the custom style I have in the forum, in default style does not pass.

The paths to the images are pointing (Example of HREPLY but happens in all):

url(http://URL/DIRECTORY/http://URL/DIRECTORIO/images/styles/RoyalFlush/buttons/hreply.gif?t=B8DJ5M3)

The path should be:

url (http://URL/DIRECTORY/images/styles/RoyalFlush/buttons/hreply.gif?t=B8DJ5M3)

You see doubles the URL of the site at first, is there anyway to fix it?

He instalado este producto en VB 4.2 PL2, pero tengo un problema con las imagenes que se muestran en el editor, ya que no se muestran correctamente, por que las rutas a las que apuntan estan mal, esto solo pasa con el estilo personalizado que tengo en el foro, en el estilo por defecto no pasa.

Las rutas a las que apuntan las imagenes son (Pongo el ejemplo de HREPLY pero pasa en todas):

tried it on vb4.2 pl3 and not working well. there are some issues and one of them is triggering .htaccess file.... not sure why!!

I verified the code, but it seems there is some configuration need to be sorted to be compatible with vb.4.2 version....

update: O.K, I found out that I have to disable the advanced editor mod in order to make it work... I wish there is some solution to this point...

It looks like this mod is no longer supported. I PM'ed the developer twice for help on making this compatible with Tapatalk and I haven't received any response. However, I can see he has been online since I sent those messages.

Also, the last update for this mod was over a year ago.

To be honest, it probably would need to be done on Tapatalk's end, not on the end of the mod. If the Tapatalk don't have the required hooks in order for the mod to work, then there is nothing the dev can do. :(

you need to find the id of each button (two buttons if used showtogroup and STU options) using chrome inspection element tool. you will find it in the a link and should be used like this:

after the uninstallation, try to use a "replacement" with one "space" for example.
wherever it finds a [hide], it replaces it with a space.

My forum has too many secondary usergroups that makes the "showusergroup" option not possible. Is there a way to make it so that only certain usregroups are listed? Hi Badshah93, this is a great plugin, i love it. However there is a permission issue with the [SHOWTOGROUPS] Tag . Those who are mods and assigned to forum section, it doesn't matter which forum. They can see the content that is embed with [SHOWTOGROUPS] Tag.

Even if i went to admin cp settings and uncheck the moderator usergroup, the mod can still see the content embed within [SHOWTOGROUPS] Tag as long as he is assigned to one of the forum section.

Is there a way you can help fix this permission issue ? So that this feature actually works even for moderators

Usually these settings should work and not allow anyone if set proper to see the content behind the hidden link but it doesn't work if you let say you have a moderator on trial period, so he has mod power over a certain section, he can bypass all that and see the content behind the hide code.

Locate line #163 in the referenced file, which is:

Try changing this line to:

$message = preg_replace_callback("/\[" . $tag . "=(&quot;|\"|'|)([0-9,\s]+)\\1\](.*)\[\/" . $tag . "\]/esiU", function($subs) {return \$this->tagparser->\$parser($subs[3], $subs[2]);}, $message);

Note: I have not tested this. :)

Glad you got it sorted out! :)

Only the calls to the preg_replace() function with the /e modifier need replacing, and I suspect that was the only one.

Hi. That's the mistake.
Have tried the options above, does not work. With the first option MarkFL blank page, the second option MarkFL empty messages. the third option mikez006 of a blank page.
