You need to make sure all of the vb4.1.12 files have been uploaded. That error is telling you that some files on your server are an older version.

Check AdminCP > Settings > Options > Style & Language Options and make sure that Default Style for Modern Mobile Browsers and Default Style for Old Mobile Browsers are set to NONE (or to a mobile style), not to your default style.

Create a new style with no parent:

Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
Parent Style: No Parent Style
Title: Default vBulletin
Allow User Selection: Yes
Save

Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?

If so, try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit includes/config.php and add this line right under <?php

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

Now view the page using no modifications and with the totally default style.

If you are trying to upgrade after the patch, I got that same error and they said on the com to just click Ignore and Continue. Something about it being like that because it was the patch instead of a full install.

Did you try Lynne 's suggestion above?

But seeing the fact that this is a vb releated issue I think it would be better if you asked over at vb.com about this. Or submit a ticket at your help desk there.

If you are just applying the patch, that is normal for 4.1.12 PL1. Just click "Ignore and Continue". If you are uploading all new files, then you shouldn't see that error.
