I am having a little problem doing this....

I did everything as i was told to do so...

Downloaded VB4
deleted install.php
made sure all add on were disabled
Uploaded the UPLOAD folder

Did the http://www.MYSITE.com/install/upgrade.php

It doesn't upgrade, it goes into "http://www.MYSITE.net/forums/install/finalupgrade.php" all i get is to put in my Vbulletin customer number and goes through 5 steps

This script will update your templates, settings, language and admin help to the latest versions.
Can anyone help me?

Uploaded the entire folder i.e. you had a folder titled "upload" when you extracted the .zip... did you upload that folder itself so for example if you look at your site via FTP is there folders named admincp, archive, clientscript and so on now including a folder called upload listed along with them?

If you see a upload folder then you uploaded the entire upload folder, what you were supposed to do was upload the contents of the upload folder into your server not the entire folder itself. Give it a quick look and check to confirm because if it's going directly to finalupgrade.php it only does that when it thinks your on the most current version i.e. 3.8.x files still in place so it can only upgrade itself from the final steps (which sometimes doing can rarely reset a issue your experiencing) therefor that's why I'm assuming you uploaded the entire folder follow?
