Left vertical banner on Showthread ?

I already have the correct ad coding displayed in

{vb:raw ad_location.thread_first_post_content}

to display the vertical 160 x 600 Ad.

So I just need to place that in the right location in Showthread. But I don't wanna install any Ad mods, just place this in the right location in Showthread and that should do it.

I'd like to have it along the left side just under the thread title area. (parallel to member's avatars and stuff)

any ideas on best location ?

alright, so I see the prime location is right around

{vb:raw postbits} in SHOWTHREAD

I need it to align just left of the posts though.

If I put the code just after postbits, the banner displays after all the posts....if I put it just before, the banner displays just before all posts.

need it to align parallel.

which HTML should I use...maybe a table ?

While I can't help you with the exact code you need I can advise you to get old style HTML out of your head for vB 4.x.

vB 4 is CSS driven. You shouldn't find old style HTML tables in vB anymore.
