See attachment first so we're on the same page about the question.
I'm wanting to move the links seperate from the rest of the navbar. I tried navtabs and navbar but they move along with the buttons. Bummer...
Is there a css that controls just the links?

Try this
.navtabs ul.floatcontainer {
your css code: here;
}

Love to try it but now all of a sudden my forum is ignoring my password. As soon as I get that straightened out I'll give it a shot.

Tada!!! Thank you HMBeaty. That was a major leauge hurdle that got laid to rest.
/* Reduced button width from 80 to 60px to make room for this to fit.*/
.navtabs ul.floatcontainer {
border: none; /* Gets rid of the line over the navtabs. */
margin-left: 490px;
margin-top: -26px;
}
This is a small part of the code I've been playing close to the vest. I'll post it all up at my place when I get home from work tonight.
Um I guess ya'll wanna peek at how it came out. http://animeappeal.com/forum.php?styleid=111
I changed the background to black and the text to white so you could see it better. Flip over to the home and blog to see how it looks there also.
