Odd bug: promoting user adds them to the 'permanently banned' list.

Hi guys, I just re-converted back to vBulletin from IP.Board 3.1.4 and noticed that whenever i promote someone, it adds them to the banned users page (view banned users in the admin cp) and lists them as permanently banned. When you lift the ban, it returns the user to the registered users group and when I go to re-promote the users (they are staff members ironically) they get re-listed as permanently banned. Any idea why this is occuring and a possible fix for it? :)

Are you using the Promotions system to promote them? What usergroup are they getting promoted into? And have you checked that usergroup to make sure "This Usergroup is not a 'Banned' Group" is set to Yes. (If it's set to No, then they will be banned in that usergroup.)

That was the problem haha. Stupid me.....sorry for the trouble. :D
