I am running a forum and I was wondering how I can use vBulletin 4.1.3 to automatically create an Email account for each person that registers?? So say a registered user (BillyBob) wants to send an email from his forum account (http://RC-Central.com), he can do so (BillyBob@RC-Central.com). Please LMK if this is possible and how to set it up. I run my own server from home so nothing is remote, all /local.

P.S. I hope to have 1,000's of users (One day in the far distant future..lol) so I need an E-mail system that can support it. I know my server can (I think). I am running Windows Server 2003 R2 Datacenter Edition SP2, WampServer 2.1

Thanks vB users for all of your support!!

you want members? utilize YouTube as much as possible.

second I don't think there is a vb plugin that does that. those email accounts need to be created at domain level. if you have cpanel then login to your cpanel and you should have a webmail icon or very similiar to that.that is where email@rc-central accounts need to be made. there may be a php script out there on the bet that will allow users to create there email accounts but I don't think there is a vbplugin.

not a bad idea tho. when I started my forum I offered email accounts to any user with over ten posts. it was pretty popular...

You might want to look at your registration system first as I signed up over an hour and am still waiting for my activation email?

I made this for you because I was bored.

You don't have to use it but it looks a bit better than your current logo.

The ad you've placed in your header would also be better coded like this.

<a href="http://rchelicanada.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1179.photobucket.com/albums/x392/RC-Central/rchelicanada_logo2.jpg"></a>

This will open the advertised site in a new tab and keep your users on your site, albeit in a different tab.

Thank you! I used the Logo and code. Please try to login again as I just made you a registered user.
