When you click on "New Posts" it lists all the new posts & all new articles, but not just the article, also the thread that is only a link to the new article.!? lol

Is there an option to NOT show that "link" thread as a new post.?
I'm fine with listing new articles, but why list a thread in the "vBCMS Comments" that is only a link to the new article.
Not sure if i'm making sense, but if you understand what i'm saying & have any info or ideas on how to remove them from listing as "New Posts" that would be much appreciated. :D

PS. if i turn that forum off, will that prevent new articles from being listed in new posts.? (or have any other effects.?)
