You can find lots of examples of how to get content from the database and then put the results in a template just by looking at the vbulletin php pages.

You have a mod that creates a notice each time a user is quoted. That is as far as I understand. You wrote something about a link not taking you to the correct place, but I don't know where you got the link from. You really would need to post the complete code (in code tags) in order for us to see what is wrong. (And isn't there already a mod that let's you know if you were quoted?)

well great kitten is my friend but he have an error with this Add on,

when he use this in his forum, this installation is ok, but when some users try to quote to another, this get a problem.

in the hack the description is "when you are quoted, you recieve a notification", but when you use this hack, you quote to another user, but dont receive nothing in your profile, but if you receive one notification, you press, but you get an error.

So this is the problem with this hack.
