Hi. I have about 70 forums..... (converted my board recently from SMF) and I discovered a lot of them sort threads by title not by last message.

at the times of vb3.5, there was this thread

which showed how to mass -update forums

is there something similar to set all forums in vb4 to default sorting to last message ?

I don't think any of those have changed. Try it on your test site and see.

I just glanced at them. I thought you said they were in there.

A quick search on vb.com gives me - http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php/260451-Globally-change-default-sort-field-and-order Isn't that what you are after?
