Sorry if this has been posted but I failed to find it in a search. Is there any way to get blog posts to display on a custom, external page outside the forums?

If not, can someone suggest any system so that our admins can post news and users can post comments?

Lots of views no replies.... how about then to simply show the most recent 10 posts in a specified news forum and parse all BB/HTML/etc code in the post correctly? I can simply run a mysql query to get my results and create the script for it, but I was wondering if something is out there to parse it all accurately since the BB code won't get parsed right.
