remove items from nav bar?

how can i edit the navbar and remove the classifieds portion that is there?

If it's from a mod disable the plugin or remove it from the .xml then re-import ;).

It's more than likely using a hook i.e. {vb:raw template_hook.navtab_end} to render the tab.
