Custom Profile Field - Auto increment

Hiya,

Im using a membership Number field on our site, updating the number has been a manual process up to now.

Having looked at a datamanager threda in the VB3 forum im wondering whether there is a guide on how to perform this automatically for VB4.

For example.

Registered user pays his subscription
User now becoms a member
Users Membership number is auto populated and increment based on the previous paid member.

Any advice welcome!

You'd have to create your own field and set it to auto_increment. User Profile Fields cannot be set to auto_increment.
