IP block for newpost.php and newthread.php

How to block IP for new post and new thread function?
Like global ban, but only for new posting.
I want to use big list of IPs, so I dont want to use it against all visitors (it will degrade forum performance), just for posting

You could use plugins on the newthread_start and newreply_start hooks with code like:
