first post read

I am going to ask this question again as it is still not working for me and I have been to two different sites and its working for them, so I know there is something wrong.

When I go to whats new click on whats new, read that post, then click on whats new again the post dissapears. or when I reply to that post it also dissapears....

When I post, I am the last one to post and my thread should be at the top of the page, but for some reason, it dissapears from the top?

I really would like some help on this

It's because you have read that post, same as in here vB.org, try =getdaily in the search URL it should show them.

OR in Forum Manager edit page you have set sort order wrong, try take a look in there.

I went to the Forum Manager edit page, now what do I look for?? I cant find anything that says sort>>?

What my Forum members are looking for is when they press "New Posts" and then get the list they want the new posts that are unread to show up in Bold. However when they read a post they want it to stay on the list but not be Bold. They have directed me to a couple of VB sites where they have this function but I have not been able to figure it out.
