Hi and welcome to Vbulletin.
To install the add ons you must read the read me file that comes with them because it varies for add on. But in a nut shell, the xml files should be uploaded at Plugins & Products->Manage Products->[Add/Import Product]->EITHER upload the XML file from your computer, here click the browse button, locate the mod.xml file that you have downloaded at your pc and then hit the Import button and you should be all set. If some add on will require additional files to uploaded, do so with Ftp at the appropriate folder as per the instructions.
From your post I gather that you don''t know how to do that either, use a ftp I mean. My advice to you, if I may, is to start searching the forums here and google about it and practice a lot at your test forum until you get the hang of things. Hope it helps.

Also if you only have the forums (no cms and blogs)
you will get a warning saying that you need to turn plugins on
just click that link and turn it on and save that page

i've been receiving pms from people on this site stating that they can do all this for me and that they've done this before for other members. i'd have to give them all my info so they can do it for me, admin cp login info, ftp login info, etc...everything.
they charge few bucks
but i'm not sure if they're legit?? do you guys think i can trust them????
thanks

That is up to you. But before you hire someone to work at your forum, make sure to read these threads first.

Also I think it is against the rules to contact someone like that in the general boards. I mean unless they posted at the PAid Section. If I were you, I would start a thread at the paid section and check out the members that will offer their services by following the steps at the links I posted above.

People who are contacting you do so as they prey on newbies to the system. Most of the support you can get for free like Jason has just offered and I am offering now to help you out.
This community was once all about sharing now it is just a place for money hungry people to prey on newbies.
We will help you out and get you started dont worry.

Shamefully everything has turned out like that now.
I remember when everyone used to help everyone else.

Also be careful of those rip off merchants who pray on newbies and want to charge you $50-$100 just to install something they know takes a couple of seconds.
We aren't all rip offs and some of us still believe in what this site used to be about - helping each other out.
