Good Afternoon Everyone,
I hope this message finds you all in good health and hopefully in a good mood where you feel like helping out a fellow administrator.

I am trying to do what many of us do and that is completely customize our forums as much as we can and to make the content/information on there relevent to our boards topic etc.

In the Edit Profile section - there is a section for Instant Messaging where it says:-
You may enter your registered identity for the instant messaging networks if you would like other visitors to be able to contact you using that medium.

This is where it has ICQ, AIM, MSN, Yahoo, Skype and when users put their information in there it normally appears in the postbit with the little icon that regular members can click on.

I have asked my users what systems they all use etc and none of my active members use ICQ, Skype or AIM and so what I am wondering is if anyone here knew how I could go about removing these from that section and adding things like Facebook, MySpace and YouTube information?

So when it is all done instead of having the default options vBulletin comes with they will have Facebook, MySpace, YouTube, MSN, Yahoo fields that they can put information in.

I hope someone here will be able to assist me, thank you all for your time.

Dear,

Try to be patient, I would love to know how to do what you're asking too though.

I'm not going to hold my breath though :D

Just came across this mate with the aid of google, it's not entirely relevant but it may give you an idea of how you can chop up the code yourself if you do a little research.
