Sidebar question

I'm using the sidebar that comes with vBulletin 4 and I was wondering if I could still have the sidebar active, but I want it to be collapsed by default. Instead of showing by default.

In other words, if you want to see the side bar you have to click the http://baseballnation.net/cpstyles/darkvision/misc/tab-collapsed.png

A more common request I've seen is how to stop people from closing the sidebar. I think that's a really bad idea myself, but people figured it out. Maybe find those threads and ask them, since they've studied the code. Here's one:
