Ok so these image settings are driving me crazy in Vbulletin.

This is what i want:

All images in forums limited to 480px (No thumnails): A lot of my posters post animated Gifs, and if you thumnail them, people have to click on them for it to work. So I just want size limited here.

Album photos (thumnails): If I set my attachment options to "No Thumnails" (which I want for my forum posts), every time someone uploads new pictures to an album they show up as "????" and you can't see the image because you disabled thumbnails and they show up as links unless I go back and "update counters" in maintenance. But when I do enable thumnails, Albums work great but then all my forums photos are thumbnails (whiich I don't want).

Is this possible? It seems like I can't get both. Am I missing something here?

A much better way to get help is to post a thread with a title that explains what you need help with. Then a user with experience in that area is more likely to help out.

Funny you should mention album thumbnails, as I just now noticed this problem on my forum. i.e., no thumbnails for albums - clearly a huge problem now that an "all albums" mod has been released. I don't want thumbnails in my posts either. But it is beginning to look like we're stuck with it.

I was waiting until tonight when I rebuild my thumbnails to look into it more. But I suppose a workaround might be to just make the thumbnails larger.

PS I agree with Lynne - your subject line is useless.
