Is it possible that with the new update to vB 4.2.1 is no longer operating the navbar product ? How can I fix it?

Have used this MOD for a while now, and now the users wonder why it does not find the option to sort the pictures, they want to put the pictures in a certain order. I've been looking but can not find any such feature, I blind or is there not?

I'm getting broken thumbnails on albums and photos.

It seems to apply to photos/albums that were at one point public, but then were turned private.

For some reason, the mod is showing the ones that turned private as blank photos with a link -- and clicking on the link sends you to an invalid page.

I already rebuilt and updated the thumbnails etc on Vbulletin but no luck fixing this issue.

Also, how can I change the navigation position of the gallery so that it appears in the middle of other nav tabs and not at the end?

I solved the problem by uninstalling "Navbar menu for Gallery" and manually creating a menu of links in the navigation bar of the forum. The script works fine in vb 4.2.1.

Hi,

If you have not installed anything, install only "Picture and Album Gallery", but do not install "Navbar menu for Gallery" or "Navtab menu for Gallery", and jump to the second step.

If you have installed "Picture and Album Gallery"

First step:
Uninstall "Navbar menu for Gallery" and/or "Navtab menu for Gallery"

Second step:
Create a new menu in the navbar: AdminCP->Options->Navigation Manager->Forum->Add menu / Title: Gallery - Show Permission Name: member (or leave this field empty if you want anyone, registered or not, can see it)

Third step:
Create a link in the new menu: AdminCP->Options->Navigation Manager->Forum->Gallery->Add link / Title: Images - URL: picall.php

Fourth step:
Create other link in the new menu: AdminCP->Options->Navigation Manager->Forum->Gallery->Add link / Title: Albums - Url: albumall.php

Fifth step:
Optionally, you can also create, in the same way, other links on the new menu to access my albums, open new album or recent albums, entering in the URL field, the corresponding links:


Title: My albums - Url: album.php{session.sessionurl_q} - Show Permission Name: quick_links_albums
Title: Open new album - Url: album.php?do=addalbum
Title: Recent albums - Url: album.php?do=latest


Only for vBulletin versions 4.2.1 and above.
Currently running in version 4.2.2

I have a forum where users are charged in the artist of albums, some photos (wide in size) beyond the page. Not every user in a state of their own to reduce the width of the pictures, I would like to do so, that was the standard version of the form.

I just installed this mod on 4.2.2 forum I'm playing with, I set up a navtab , but can't get it to highlight that tab when I'm in the albumall.php page, how do I do that?

EDIT: Figured it out, I edited the THIS_SCRIPT variable in both albumall.php and picall.php to "gallery" and then set the tab's "Tab Script(s)" to the same, now they both light up the correct tab. :)

This mod has screwed up the colours on my navbar.

Like others it made the links in the dropdowns white on white.

I changed the navbar template and changed it to black which fixed the problem.

Now on the main page the titles as well have change from white to black even though in the navbar template I have it set to white.

Prior to upgading to 4.2.2 the text was white on the main page and the links in the drop down menu were black on white.

Does anybody have a fix for this?

I just realized my album images are not showing up in Internet Explorer. I am not sure if this mod is the cause. Can someone else with the latest Vb4 check and see if you are seeing the images in IE?

RichNot sure which site you want us to look at; the one in your sig doesn't seem to be a forum. FWIW, this all seems to work on our forum (Shannondale.org) in IE.

All the other images on the site work fine in ie. It is just the albums.

My site is musclemecca.com if you want to checkConfirmed here too. Okay in Chrome, but in IE 11 there are X's in place of the images. You don't have something odd like vbseo installed? Anyway, I guess you've already tried at least disabling all your other mods?

My last guess would be some obscure server permission error. If it's a hosted server, contact your host. I think in the latest version of vb you can get full error reporting to come back on and maybe that will give you a clue.

I have a dedicated server. I have tried a couple things there but have tested albums on another Vbulletin forum I host and they work fine there on ie.

I am certain this is something simple I am over looking. I am going to enable the errors though to see what is going on but I see nothing in error logs out of the ordinary.

Just installed this product a few days ago yeah, slow on the upgrade :o , anyway, seemed to work ok but then at the top of my album page started getting this warning:

You will need to make a link in the Navigation Manager of the AdminCP

AdminCP > Settings > Navigation Manager

Add a link and call it whatever you wish, such as albums

Mine looks like this:

I believe those numbers are the usergroups which have access.

It's been a while since I have messed with this so I hope it helps.

If you're using the built in vB4 mobile style, then this mod doesn't have a template for that, hence the blank page.
