[card] and [deck] tags in vB4 Suite for MTG Forums

Card and Deck tags seem to lock up the vB4.0.1 Publishing Suite since I upgraded. Can anyone offer me any support and direction on the matter. Is there a new plugin for this? Or is there a simple modification to make it work? Thank you in advance.

you mean tags as in the tags used by bots, to increase seaching on your site or ?

I mean tags that enable gatherer.wizards.com pop-ups. For instance, Fireball is a Magic Card whose image and stats are available on the gatherer.

The Fireball tag will auto-link the card to the gatherer database so you can click on the link and view the info on the card.

[deck] tags work similarly except for a grouping of cards.

ahh i see, so its a bunch of BBcodes people use when posting..

since they are costum we either need to see the codes, or have a link to the original mod
to be able to help you. Cause im thinking the linking the codes may have
gone haywire after updateing to 4.x from 3.x

Correction -- they are still locking up the Home CMS page. Here's more info:

I am getting the following error when I try to go to the CMS Home page. I am running vB 4.0.2 and will be upgrading very soon to 4.0.3. I just haven't gotten around to it.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function handle_bbcode_cardlink_quick() in /home/magicdec/public_html/forum/includes/class_bbcode.php on line 1356

I believe this is because of a deck link / deck tagging bbcode installed. Does anyone know how I can prevent this error but still keep my deck link and card link bbcode? He's the bbcode:

Bump: Card and Deck tags still lock it up.

There are four different plugs that make them work normally:

Auto BB Code --- newpost_process
Call custom tags --- bbcode_fetch_tags
Card & Deck Tags --- global_start
Custom bbcode tag WYSIWYG fix --- bbcode_create

Can anyone help me?

Try to clean the CMS cache in the control panel.
