Limit RSS Feed

Is there any way to limit the character length of the feed posts in vb suite 4.0.2 ?

Currently, the ENTIRE post/thread is shown, which makes it easy to steal the content of the site and makes visiting the site to read an article completely unnecessary.

that plugin is for forums only and does not apply to Blog Posts, which is the issue. I have not been able to locate a plugin in Any vb version that limits the length of Blog Posts in RSS.

I have to bump this one.

The vb3 limiter plugin works for threads, but doesn't work for articles. In addition i did a "grep" through the vbcms files to check where the cms-rss feed is generated and if there are any hooks i can use to limit the feed. Unfortunately i haven't found anything.

Can someone point me in the right direction where to look and what to do in order to limit the postmessage the cms rss pumps out?
