Someone PLEASE release a better vBulletin 4 Facebook Connect mod! YAFB linked earlier in this topic is buggy, and doesn't work very well even when it is working as designed.

YAFB is a great integration aside from the few bugs. It covers so many functions and features that I really don't see anyone else releasing a different one. Hopefully the coder will fix up the issues and the language a bit.

It's only buggy for folks who have overlooked many of the fixes for the couple of things wrong with it. For most folks, it seems to be working flawlessly.

What are the couple of fixes you are referring to???

I LOVE IT...

Would be hard to top this one even though it can be buggy...

With all the features it has!!!

But I am having one issue that I can not get resolved at this time...

When a user tries to make a post it says POST TO SHORT even though it is not and it will delete the post, everything you had in it and take you from Quick Reply to the normal Reply to Post..

When you try and do it from there it does the same thing...

Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED have not got a response yet from the support side yet...

THANK YOU AGAIN FOR ANY HELP...

PS...

Someone said it might be related to an interferance with a quick reply product???

I dont know that I have added any quick reply products or Smile Products... I have added Smiles but not as a product???

Again Any help would be appreciated!!!

THANKS@!!@

Support questions for the product have to be asked in the mod thread itself.

I realize that I was asking a general question as I was looking ANY where for answers...

Some people responded here so I was taking a chance

AllinJac,

If you're already running vB4 and are looking for a FB integration, then this thread by Adrian (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?346659-Questions-for-Adrian&p=1955114&viewfull=1#post1955114) over at vBulletin.com will be of interest to you (read the last sentence carefully ;))

I was just trying to point that out before a mod did. It's kinda the forum rules, ya know. ;)

I think you are referring to the integration of FB and version 4.03???

I have heard some good and bad about this but am excited to see they are putting the two together if that is what you are referring to!

Have an awesome day!
