Hey all I am pretty new to Vbulletin and I was wondering if this is possible in Vbulletin.
The forum that I am looking to build would encourage users to subscribe to other people's threads. That being said I would like a better way for them to keep track of their subscriptions rather than just through the user profile.
So my question is, say on your main Forum page you had 4 forums: A, B, C, and D. In this case "D" would be an empty forum.
Is it possible to modify Vbulletin so that if a user subscribed to threads in forum A, B, and C that any time there was an update it could be funneled all to D?
Basically it would be the "subscriptions" portion of the user profile but in a Forum. I feel like in the default set-up on Vbulletin its kinda tough to keep track of your subscriptions as its kinda hidden in the user profile.
Thank you in advance.

Basically it would be the "subscriptions" portion of the user profile but in a Forum. No, it sounds more like you want to duplicate posts in forum A to forum D. What would be the point?

Hi thank you for your response.
Well basically an important part of my site is having other people be able to subscribe to and keep track of other people's threads/forums. However in the default setup of Vbulletin, finding your subscriptions is pretty difficult as you would have to hit the "settings" tab.
I was just curious to maybe if it was possible to move the location of the "My Subscriptions" area from under "settings" to a more visible area say under "My Profile"?
I feel like the "My Profile" area is an area where members will check every time when they login, however I doubt many will look under "settings", and I would like people to be able to see threads/forums they have subscribed to a lot easier.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Oh. Yes, simply putting a link to http://www.yourforum.com/forum/subscription.php?do=viewsubscription in/on a menu would be relatively easy. There are several mods here that make adding menu links easy.

Hello thank you for your response. I was searching the forum after reading your response and I am not sure where to find that mod you were talking about. If you could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.
I am a complete computer newb and have no idea what I'm doing. It took me 2 days just to figure out how to upload my site to a Host Server! Thank you again you have been so helpful I really appreciate it.

Create a 'Forum' that is a link to 'Subscriptions Page'

Create a 'Forum' that is a link to 'Subscriptions Page'Yes, that would work too, though if this is a central feature of your forum I would think a navbar link would make more sense.
Forget about searching for these mods. I just tried it myself and couldn't come up with any, even though I know there must be a dozen now. Instead what I did was go to the 4.0 add-ons forum and sort by number of installs. vBH-Add new tabs (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=228507) is leading with 885 installs, but I've been watching Tabs Add System for vBulletin 4 (sstab advanced) (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=233629) and I'm still undecided myself. Of course, you can also just add entries manually ([HOW TO - vB4] Create a New Tab in the navbar (with template) (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=228313) ).

Hey guys thank you for your responses! You guys definitely have been so helpful and I am very appreciative.
Create a 'Forum' that is a link to 'Subscriptions Page'
This sounds like it could work, but I am not sure what you mean. So I would create a forum in the Forum Manager, but how would I "link it" to the Subscriptions Page? Also if I did this, would this newly created forum be "unique" to each individual user? For example since every user would have different/unique subscriptions, when they logged into their account and say clicked on this "Subscription Forum" would their unique subscriptions be there? I'm just curious because I am not sure how creating a link (URL?) would do this. I apologize in advance as I am sure it is obvious I have NO IDEA WHAT IM DOING (thank you for your patience) :).
Also Videx I checked out those links and I am having trouble installing the mods (I posted a query in the thread). So I'm thinking I may try just creating and linking a forum first, though if someone could help me with that it would be cool.
Thank you again guys for your time. I really appreciate it. :)
