And when I log in on Mozilla Firefox latest version it brings me back to the unregistered member log in screen and I have to click a link to a section on my site and I am logged in. This can be confusing for newbies so please how do I fix this?

You need to clear your cache and cookies. And tell your members to do it as well. I put a notice up that points to a thread that states right up front that they must do this and I include a link that helps explain how to do it. So far nobody's ever come back and complained a second time.

anyone know of a reason why i keep getting logged off everytime i close my web browserSomething is clearing your cookies, either an AV app or an anti-malware app. You need to go into their preferences and make sure they are NOT set to block cookies. Cookies are not harmful, and these apps should not be blocking them.

Also it could be your browser. Look in the Security preferences and make sure you have not enabled to "clear cookies on exit".

we have users reporting this as well. Some from multiple browsers, and all login properly after they click to another page.

yea this is what I figured, so I disabled a few hacks/mods but not sure if the problem is fixed yet because I never had this problem :\
I'll just wait if people complain more!
Thanks

Suggestion from vbulletin.com is to head to your admincp and check if there is another cookie domain option under HTTP Headers & Cookies. if so, use it. This seems to be working for me.
