Hi there,

I have created a new site under bz domain in vb4 and ported all the database from the previous vb3 site.
I have then create a super big "WE ARE MOVING" sign at the header and even made a htaccess file to redirect index.php. However, people are still visiting different parts of the old site from various links outside on the web.

So, I would like to create more redirect rules. Can anyone help?

Thanks :)

WC

I would rename your forum directory to another name then setup a "404 page not found" page to say, it looks like the page you were tring to visit is out of date, please try here at our new website! to redirect them... but thats just my overly simplistic metheod, not sure if thats what you were looking for

Thanks :)

I would like to do it thru htaccess because there are quite a bit of links around and all we need is the domain name change..

I think this should be doable tho..
