CMS & Forum in Different Folders

hello,

I was searching vb.com & here but the keywords I used led to nothing ..

I want to upgrade to vb4, but my forum is in a subfolder & want to put the CMS in root, but strangely enough that's not possible without a hack ..

If you have some hints on how to do it, please share, thanks! :)
