Adding custom blocks above the sidebar

I tried to add custom blocks above the sidebar,
but when i collapsed the sidebar, the custom block was not collapsed.

what can I do?

Are you adding them via the block manager?

Well, that's your problem. The little thing that closes the div is all within one 'class' and if you are putting your stuff outside of it, then it won't be closed with the little tab.
