problem with input box's possible syntax issue, '' vs " "

[Vaupell]

printing some cells..


// some while sentence.. using $row and allready assigned val
Print_cells_row(array(

Into a form, when submitting the form i cannot "get" or "post" the user edited
content from "NewData3"

im retriveing the data exsample

// if,, request - etc... savecontent

$id = $vbulletin->input->clean_GPC('g', 'id', TYPE_UINT);
$NewData3 = $vbulletin->input->clean_GPC('p', 'NewData3', TYPE_STR);
$NewData3 =& $db->escape_string($vbulletin->GPC['NewData3'])

$db->query_write("UPDATE " . TABLE_PREFIX . "table SET data3='".$NewData3."' WHERE Tid=$id");
// ending. \ returning etc..


Query gets the right colum but $NewData3 is submitted Empty..
howewer if i use a "normal" print_input_row and use the content from there it
adds just fine..

So the input box is not proberly working,, any help on fixing the input ?
im thinking cause im using the ' ' instead of "" is causing some problems with the name=''.
