I'd still like to know what issues or where you were having issues with the friendly URL's - I could not reproduce any problems? The update is not a rewrite - mostly just some CSS updates (change of colours, add some padding and introduce a few small images) and bug fixes - all of which have been reported since the last release in here

All looks fine. One suggestion: the secondary line when viewing forum threads should be in smaller letters (the line where post author and date are). I guess this will improve viewing experience.

Also VBulletin Debug Information template is too huge.

Also try to search "test" over the forum. The second result is some CMS article and it's displayed HUGE also ;)

EDIT: I'll go with what FractalizeR's said except for the search thing I didn't get that + after I signed in using my mobile [iPhone] I got a No Permission message? just click Home everything went well tho.

I have an issue... !! I have installed this style and changed to it to test it, but you don't get an option to change back to a normal style.... !!

So I am stuck on it for the moment, I am sure I will suss it eventually. !

Edit, I couldn't even change it back via admin cp, removed user ability to change styles and set it back to my usual style, yet my account stayed on the mobile style, I had to delete the style completely to 'switch it off'.

I've been playing with your current one on my test forum, adding some functionality back into it: preview post, report post, and reputation, as well as some admin stuff - infractions (works but not well), moving and merging threads. Very functional on a minimalist device, but not so aesthetically pleasing; this new one looks much better on a smart phone.

I can also confirm the Different Domain, Different Style hack for the vb 3 series still works for vb4. So grab it and this and hook up mobile.yourdomain.com and you're good to go!

Well I think what must of happed like Dartho said is that I merged the style into my default parent style which filtered down to all the rest. I was sure I had selected no parent though so I'm not sure how I did it.

When I then went to remove the mobile style and it's plugin all my styles were Dartho branded and useless, had to open a support ticket because I didn't know how to fix it. Not Dartho's fault in any event but worth cautioning people so they don't make the same mistake that I did.

Anyone else getting a "certificate violation" type error when attempting to mark all posts as read?

Running on an iPad and iPhone, when I try to do this using the Mobile Style, that's what appears and it requests I contact the Administrator.

I'm able to simply switch to Full Graphics Mode from Mobile Style and perform the same function without a problem ... :confused:

I too came across a similar issue:

When I tried to go back to the default style, from Opera, it was not working. The poage called was: "forum.php?styleid=" a "1" was missing.

This was reported by a user. I don't have a device with dolphin to test on, but user is tech-savvy.

Basically, they first browse to the default (full) vB4 style, then select Mobile from the style drop-down. The page they are redirected to contains the double ?? in the URL.

MSO is installed. Options are:

Title:
Mobile Style: vB4 default
Default Style: vB4 default
Text:
Add link: Top Nav
Home link: index.php
Show Going On: No
Hide Chooser: No
Code to disable addons:

hi darth.. i use adsense advertising, but when I enter the forum is advertising and is reflected in the phone as a big empty space. using the mobile skin on the forum you can tell in the screenshot and photos , and disables the adsense advertising so q is not visible when entered via PC or via phone when I go. thanks.

Edit the footer, forumdisaply, forumhome, header, navbar and showthread themapltes, search for {vb:raw ad_location and delete it (it will actually be something like {vb:raw ad_location.ad_footer_start}, {vb:raw ad_location.ad_forumhome})

Also, you should rename "wrireless.css.txt" to "wireless.css" and upload to your forum root to ad a little colour to the style.

Darren - Here is what I did:

Created a subdomain called http://mobile.mydomain.com which redirects to http://mydomain.com/forum.php?styleid=3(the mobile 2.0 style).

When I browse to http://mobile.mydomain.com, the mobile style is displayed as expected. I see the "PC mode" button at the top, when I click on it the mobile style itself is displayed. Am i doing something wrong ?

I have installed Mobile options. I have set the default PC style to the VB default style and the default mobile style to Mobile 2.0 style.

Install "Mobile Style Options" and configure the style chooser https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=229044 and also edit the navbar template in the mobile style and replace

I had a mobile style for 3.8 that allowed me to select if iPhones could be exempt from the mobile style... after all, who wants to see the mobile style on an iPhone or worse and iPad (Android etc.)

Is this an option with this version - I'm not seeing it. I need a mobile style that can excempt the larger mobile devices.

Making it a user option won't work because users will switch between mobile device browsing and regular.

I'm updated to the latest version of mobile style and mobile style options but I'm having numerous problems, I managed to fix a few myself however the "Posted via mobile" does not appear, I prefer this to be listed as it helps moderators making decisions on whether to edit posts due to text speak as this can be something mobile users do.

uninstalling this (or any other) style would not affect other styles.

If you have messed up your default style, you can revert the template to bring back the default.

If you've messed up the master style, I think there is something in tools.php in the vBulletin download which can help restore it.

I tested this, (Install style on vBulletin 4.0.6) and can not reproduce the error. Install went smoothly.

However, if I try to import this STYLE as a PRODUCT, I do get the exact error you describe.

Nice. I installed this to test things out with the plan on completely modifying it. I am yet to leave any of your code in the sections I have modified however it sure simplified things for me (I didn't have to go through every template deleting loads of stuff). The CSS file in the root directory is great also!

FORUMHOME template is fixed with "bbuserinfo.securitytoken" issue.

But there are 2 more in "search_results" & "search_resultlist" templates. Dartho used vb3 stylevar:

if you replace it with FORUMHOME's, error occurs.

Because one is {vb:raw xxx} stylevar and another is $vbphrase[xxx]. Fix it Please.

not sure this is a bug or not, when people reply a thread using this style, the subscription automaticly unsubscript the user from the thread.

edit the newreply temaplate, search for:

and add the following immediately above

If this cant work decently with my main page than I don't see point of such thing
