Social Group Icons not showing up

Maybe someone here knows what I'm doing wrong...

The images for Social Groups aren't showing up. Not in the member profile, neither in the Social Groups page... Below is a screenshot of what they look like now: small squares with no contents.

Anyone got a possible solution?

right click on the small square and go to properties, check the image path, make sure the image is in the directory and named properly.

I've checked into the problem and it seems to be the database that didn't store them well. So changed back to saving them into files on the server. Now it's working again.
