trigger post counter

Hi,

I've got a 'bot' which rips off some news articles from a website and puts it on the frontpage of my website and also in the forum.

But the postcounter of this 'bot' isn't being incremented. Where can i trigger the postcounter function that the 'bot' has made a post?

The bot is also a registered user on the forum.
