I am in extreme need of creating something that can fetch an post. I have like my own wikipedia for information about certain games but they all go thorugh templates. This is one of those pages (http://www.rarewarecentral.com/forums/gamessnes.php?do=dkc2). Since we need writers to help us with our pages we need to create something more public instead of admin tempaltes.

I need it to fetch a post instead of what it is now. Is there any way I can do this?
I've attached a few files from a product I own which somebeody made for me, it's using just about the same thing I want. Once again, I own it and I can do what I want with it.

Here is one of the templates called "rwc_singlenews_page" (Here's one of the pages ruled by this template (http://www.rarewarecentral.com/forums/news.php?id=1879)):
$stylevar[htmldoctype]
<html dir="$stylevar[textdirection]" lang="$stylevar[languagecode]">
<head>
<title>$vboptions[bbtitle]</title>
$headinclude
</head>
<body>
$header

$navbar

<table class="tborder" cellpadding="$stylevar[cellpadding]" cellspacing="$stylevar[cellspacing]" border="0" width="100%" align="center">
<tr>
<td class="thead"><font size="4" face="Verdana">$dateposted - Posted by $thread[postusername]</font></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td class="alt1"><div class="navbar_notice"> <!-- icon and title -->
<div class="smallfont">
<if condition="$show['threadicon']"><img class="inlineimg" src="$thread[threadiconpath]" alt="$thread[threadicontitle]" border="0" /></if>
<strong>$thread[title]</strong>
</div>
<hr size="1" style="color:#000000; background-color:#000000" />
<!-- / icon and title -->

<!-- message -->
<div id="post_message_$thread[threadid]">$message</div>
<!-- / message --></div></td>
</tr>
</table>
<br />

$footer
</body>
</html>
I also added the news.php file in attachments.
