Hi ... :)

We use vBulletin 3.67pl1 ...

We have some custom code that works with vBulletin attachments to create highslide pop-up pics in our forums. It works great, but we have a slight cosmetic problem that only manifests itself when members select "insert" function of the attached files, as opposed to the default where vBulletin code places them at the bottom of a post.

To help solve the problem, the developer is asking us where the template is that handles the in-line "insert pic" function, as opposed to the default (at bottom of post) positioning.

I'm not a programmer and know enough about vBulletin to be dangerous, so can anyone tell me where I should let him know to look for this, so he can add the appropriate code to fix the cosmetic capability of the in-line pics?

Thanks for any feedback ...

Regards,
Badger

To find the template to modify, do this - vboptions > General Settings > Add Template Name in HTML Comments > set to Yes . Then go back to your page and view the source code and you will see the name of the template called around your part of the code. Sometimes the template is the one mentioned at the very top of the page source.

However, I'm not too sure it is a template there. I think it get's inserted into the $post[message] and so if you want to change that, you may need to change the code as it is inserted.
