I downloaded, "resize img with highslide"

I downloaded the plugin and I've been trying to use highslide js on my site with a different tag.

I do not want to use [img] tags because i need full pictures on some parts of the site.

Is there a way to configure the highslide JS to be used with custom, [media] tags?

If so please can you help assist me.
