How to add field under user name

Hello to all,

I am trying to add an area under a members name.

I run a bowling forum, so I am looking to add a field that will allow a member to show their bowling average.

I am thinking that this is under the Profile Field, Yet I am not sure how to make it where it can be public and shown under the members name.

I am sure that this is very easy, but I am just wanting to make sure that I do it right the first time.

So basically a field that says

Bowling Average and then it has a users input.

Take a look at this in the manual - Custom Profile Fields (http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/profile) - and after you have it set up, take a look in the articles forums and there is an article on how to add the profile field to your postbit(_legacy) template.
