Yes, a template system bug fix in 417 causes this.
I had to make some changes in vB itself because of this, but havent had the time to fix my mods atm.

I updated my forum last night from 4.1.5 PL1 to 4.1.8, reverted all 51 templates (4 diffrent layouts) and installed update 417 of this mod.
After that the commas are gone.

At users online and everywhere else the commas are fine.

I downloaded 417 of this mod, not knowing that the one above was for vB 4.1.8

As Paul has said before, I turned off the directional markup fix, but that didn't help.

It seems that if an username contains a space, it breaks the line and starts a new one.
It also breaks out of the box.

This only appears in IE8, not in FireFox.

I have installed an older version of the mod on my forum (forum version is 4.1.7). After that a problem in registration is occurred. The below error in database is received to website mail every time a new user registers.


Now i have uninstalled the mod but the problem is still there

Nevermind. The template did not merge correctly for some reason. I manually made the template changes and all is fine.

I would compare your template then start with these . re move one at a time and see if the issue resolves..

7. The ability to allow only certain usergroups to view the list is an ACP option (include or exclude groups).

Updated due to the removal of the old collapse images in 4.1.11 - the replacement images are actually available in 4.1.8, 4.1.9 & 4.1.10 so you can update to the new version even if you havent upgraded from them to 4.1.11 yet. vBulletin versions prior to 4.1.8 are not supported by the current version (for 4.1.0 to 4.1.7 you can use the file prefixed with 417). vBulletin 4.0.x is not supported at all and no version is available to download.

I tried to help out scoorps with this problem but couldn't.

but on that Skin it doesn't show, when you change it to the vB Default Skin it shows fine.

I have this installed on a custom skin, not the same company as him, and it works and shows just fine.
Looking at the Skins at Complete vB I really can't see why this happens, i thought it might be something to do with a hook location and changed a few lower than 5 from this mod for him but that didn't work.

I feel for the guy as his English isn't great as he's French and all he wants is this Mod to show on his custom skin.

We've got a slight problem with it.

If you take a look at KH-Vids.Net Forum (http://www.kh-vids.net/forum.php), you'll see that there are commas between each user for the Members Who Have Visited Today add-on, but if you look at ours (http://www.kh-mediaflare.net/forum.php), there aren't any commas.

How can we fix this?

Its possible you have customised versions of the display templates this uses, so they are now out of date.

Other than that I dont know - you have a mis-match somewhere, but its not possible for me to tell where from here.

I have to confess that was very useful and for that reason I have continued to use the mod rather than the core functionality.

Easy to do, just re-enable the product that the upgrader disabled, and ensure the core version of it is switched off.

Note that I strongly suspect the upgrader will disable the products on every upgrade so this needs to be on the upgrade "to do" list if you do go down this road.

That has never existed in this mod.
I believe you (and Mark) are thinking about the member tracking mod, which also displayed the same visit data as this on forum home.
A 4.2 version of that will be available in the next few days.

Go into your options and turn it on if you haven't done so yet. When I upgraded, it was disabled like I said I had to enable it.

i have one short question - is there an easy way to do restrictions like ->

Show only 4 Usergroups -> Registered, Admins, Mods, SuperMods

I dont want to see there Users, if they are waiting for activation or have to activate there account with the activationlink in the email (Spammers for example)

I am sorry but I am not sure what you are trying to say?

before 4.2 this plugin would display the members who have visited the forum in the last 24hrs to everyone(guest's, logged in users or not logged in users). Now since its included in the vb4.2 core it displays this only if you logg in. I want it to always display.

For Unregistered / Not Logged In, (COPPA) Users Awaiting Moderation, and Users Awaiting Email Confirmation:

General Permissions >> Can View the Visiting Members Display on Forum Home = Yes

And if you have Guest Tracking also enabled:

Guest Tracking Permissions >> Can View the Guests Visited Display = Yes
Guest Tracking Permissions >> Can View Guest Visits List = Yes

You should probably check these settings for your other usergroups as well.

How can I change the time that it tracks users from 24 to 48 hours? I think it might help me in getting a better average of members. I know you say it's not an option but what would I change in the code to make it a custom time.
It's currently set as a rolling 24. It is working fine after all this time.

Is all we need to do is change the
$cutoff = TIMENOW - 86400;
to what we want?
