View Full Version : New Theme/Syle problems

I've downloaded a new Style which is a zip file onto my computer when I use the Import Style XML File in my Admin Panel, I click on browse and insert the file from my computer (upload the XML file from your computer) and then click the Import button I get this error:

XML Error: not well-formed (invalid token) at Line 1
:confused::confused:
Amy ideas for help guys?:cool:

means theme is no good. Is it just this one theme or all themes?

I've only tried one Theme, I'll go and try another.

Ok make sure you get a theme from the right forum version or it will not work :)

Yes I've found that out.
I did up load a Theme and it installed but things didn't look right when I used the Theme on the Forum, many things weren't looking right, a bit messed up.

One Theme I'd like is the Marvel Theme and would like to have this Theme for my vB along with maybe 2 more Themes, I use Version 3.8.2 for my vB, any one got any good links to some free Themes?

They all seem to be 3.8.1, they don't work with 3.8.2

Any ideas?

nope i did not look at that sorry it is late and my brain is shutting down. We have nice styles in the Styles are at the Top. My favorite is Red Sun Theme i love it :P

I tried some of those Themes including that one but many of the Thread/Last Post icons don't work/look right.

3.8.1 will work with 3.8.2

infact most 3.7 styles and even 3.6 will work with just a few tiny adjustments

Yes, I have installed the Marvel theme now but none of the buttons show, it just shows the wording for the buttons, any help how to make the buttons show?

check that you have upload the images

then go to admincp->Style and Templates->(Your Marvel theme)-> MainVar (from drop down box) and make sure the file locations are correct
