I've used this article (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=165554) provided to me by Lynne, to create an extra tab in user profiles. I really don't know a whole lot about coding using variables, so this is what I need:
[Search for all threads started by user, in forumID 12 and all child boards] [USERNAME]'s Posted Content [/End Link]
So I'll need to know how to post that specific search based on the user, along with displaying the user's name... thanks to anyone who can help me out.

You can already search for posts via the user's profile under statistics.

That's not what I'm asking for. I'm asking for threads started by the user in specific boards only.

You are asking for the query? Or the link to find all the threads?

Actually, if it isn't too much, I would like to know how to do both... if the query (That displays the threads inline?) could just display the latest 3 threads.

I think if you need someone to write this for you, you need to post in the modifications requests - paid or unpaid.
There was a modification to list a users latest threads on the profile page, but I think it was for 3.6. So, you would have to modify it to use the tabs. Have you tried searching for something like this?

Alright, I guess I'll post this in mod requests, but it's not much of a mod... I'd just need to know what variables to include and how to format it. And yes, I've searched for mods including those blank tabs.

Well, typically in this forum, you would post your code and say what isn't working and we would take a look and help you out. However, you haven't posted anything for us to help you with. So, it seems to me you are wanting someone else to write it which means you should post in of of the forums I suggested. I mean, I have something similar to what you want on my site. If users have created threads in specific forums, they get a new tab in their profile and it lists the last 10 threads in those forums and then there is a link to go get a complete list (there's a bit more to it, but...). However, mine is a bit more involved than what you want and I'm not going to go try to figure out what to take out to make it like what you want. I could, however, take a look at yours if you posted it and said what is going wrong and make suggestions on how to fix it. But, you've posted nothing for anyone to comment on.

I apologize for posting this in the wrong place - I've posted in Mod Requests. Thank you for all your help.
