Hello!
I own a forum with 10,000 posts, 866 topics, 375 users.
Current server load averages are 42.90 23.62 18.88
I am on a shared server, on godaddy.
Is it a problem? What should I do?
Thanks!

Problem: "I am on a shared server, on godaddy."
Solution: Go with an entry level host that is a bit friendlier to PHP & MySQL applications; there are plenty out there for less than $15 a month for good small-board hosting. In essence still a shared hosting environment but one that's better suited for your needs.

HostGator is the best shared host I've ever used
Not sure if it still works, but back in the day, you could use the coupon code "jury" to get $9.94 off your first month...if you dont buy the smallest package they have

on godaddy. Is it a problem?
godaddy is a problem itself. And godaddy's shared is worse!
I have always heard that they are good for domains but not good at all for hosting. Yesterday, I got a chance to test a dedicated server on godaddy, and all what I got were problems. It takes almost 1/2 hour for a database to setup and what not!
I highly suggest to stay move away from them.

If they are OK with you, then they are OK with us. You are the one who is going to notice the speed, or lack thereof, on your site.
