View Full Version : User Getting Security Token Message.

I have a member that was getting a Security Token message when trying to log in. I had to delete their account and then create a new one myself. That seemed to take care of the problem, and then today, I got another message from a long time member that is having the same issue all of a sudden. But she is the only one. Same as before, it was only one person. I don't want to have to delete this user and create a new account. Any ideas?

Do you know what page the user(s) are trying to login from?

no I don't. I am guessing the main page. The last person to email with the problem stated that she was in a hotel room in St. Louis.

worse yet, I can't duplicate the problem. But I know it's going on, becuase this is the second person with the same exact problem.

Security Token pages are most often caused by an old pages without updated code... Finding out if they logged on from an odd page is a good first step to figuring this out.

It did with the other person. With this new one, she has only emailed me once. I am going to email her again, and see if the problem is still there.

Have them clear their browser cache/cookies and see if the problem goes away. They may be holding stale data in their browser.
