i did try....i added the code to the postbit and postbit legacy...and made sure there was a button gif in the button folder...but nothing

It's a basic template conditional

<if condition="$show['guest']"><img src="register.gif" border="0"></if>

Stick that somewhere in your postbit and edit your image source.
