Ok, I've tried searching for this but with no avail.. Maybe I'm an idiot and it's hiding under my nose, but here is what I want to do.

When someone types in www.example.com I want it to redirect it to www.adifferentsite.com without physically changing the url on the forums.

Basically a url redirect. Not seeing it the options.

Any help to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

In your site cpanel there should be a section under Domains where you can ad redirects.

Alright that wasn't a good explanation of what I want to do, I wasn't thinking strait.

When someone types on the forum www.example.com I want it to replace it with www.anothersite.com instead of a redirect. Basically censoring and replacing the first site with the second.

I'm not wanting to redirect people from my site, I'm just wanting to change the way it appears when they type it.

As far as changing up that code to fit what I need to do, i wouldn't have the slightest idea on how to do that.

Oh, i see what you mean, it will redirect to another site without showing the different url. That is done wherever you have your domain hosted at. i read an article about that on domainit.com, you may want to go there and read up on it. maybe check your domain host.

That was the original idea, but at this point I would be ok with just replacing a with b. Basically a way to censor out the website and plug in another site name.

Ugh nevermind, I'm an idiot. Got it with replacement variables.

Thanks for the help guys.
